OHIP Change to Coverage for Chiropractors
November 27, 2004

Effective December 1, 2004, chiropractic services are no longer covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

The province no longer covers chiropractic services. People are responsible for paying the fees charged by chiropractors. People with private insurance may have these services covered in part or full by their private plans.

People should speak to their employer's human resources department for clarification of their coverage.
